RSVP to the Gray Riders Film Screening

See The Gray Riders documentary before it premieres on television. We’re hosting a special screening on Thursday, November 2 for this film, so RSVP to

There will be a reception at 5:30pm with light refreshments and snacks. The film will begin at 6pm.

This one-hour documentary looks at the remarkable 100-year history of the New York State Police. The story of upstate New York 100 years ago is one that sounds more fitting for the wild west.

Discover the history of New York state before the riders in gray and the events which triggered people of this once “lawless territory” to organize and carve out a better life. This year marks 100 years of service for The New York State Troopers.

The film blends photographs and rare footage from the New York State Police archives with reenactments and dozens of interviews from the men and women who have served with the State Police. Those officers who have made it what it is today.

See the evolution of an organization and learn its stories.

Come join us Thursday, November 2 at 5:30pm with award-winning filmmaker Brian Frey, along with others from the WSKG family to experience a piece of history. Our seating is limited, so please RSVP to
