WSKG’s Andrew Pioch and Al Williams of Classical Pianists of the Future join us to talk about the two-part retrospective of six years of Expressions programs hosted by Ithaca College piano student Alexei Aceto, who also play some new pieces.

Alexei Aceto, an extremely talented classical pianist from Ithaca will appear on a brand new episode of Expressions, premiering Thursday, April 27th at 8pm. A senior in high school, Alexei recorded an evening of classical standards from composers such as Rachmaninoff, Scriabin and Schubert in front of a live studio audience at the WSKG Studios. The hour long program will also include interview clips where Alexei discusses his early start playing the piano, his influences and future plans. Classical Pianists of the Future has found their next performer right in our area. Seventeen year old Alexei Aceto is a native of Ithaca and a student of Charis Dimaras of Ithaca College. He is performing at United Presbyterian Church, 42 Chenango Street in Binghamton.
