Birds of Stewart Park with Dr. Stephen Kress *free virtual event*

Friends of Stewart Park is pleased to present the first event in our Centennial series, Birds of Stewart Park with Dr. Stephen Kress. Acclaimed author and ornithologist Kress will introduce some of the more than 100 bird species that frequent Stewart Park in a lively presentation with stunning images and audio recordings. This free online program, for any and all bird enthusiasts, explains why Stewart Park is such a popular destination for both birds and birders. Guest Dr. Stephen (Steve) Kress has taught a popular Spring Field Ornithology course at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology for more than 40 years. He is the founder of Audubon’s Project Puffin and served for many years as director of the Hog Island Audubon Camp in Maine.
