The Cranberry Coffeehouse presents Bill Staines in concert

The Cranberry Coffeehouse is welcoming legendary folk musician and story-teller Bill Staines.  If  his name sounds unfamiliar, his music is not; his songs have permeated American music for 40 years. Chris Koldewey of the Cranberry Coffeehouse talks about Staines’ influence on folk music and his intense performance schedule, in fact the Cranberry Coffeehouse changed their standard performance schedule so that they could get him when he had a free night.  Chris Koldewey also talks about how the Cranberry Coffeehouse got started and their mission.

An Eminent Folk Music Duo Performs in Binghamton

The Cranberry Coffeehouse, now in its 40th year, presents folk music artists and composers Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen. Each is an accomplished performer alone, and their duet performances reinforce each others strengths. They are currently celebrating the release of their new CD, ‘Berrymania’. We hear about their careers and the beginnings of the Cranberry Coffeehouse from Chris Koldewey.
