Spare Productions presents the musical ‘Legally Blonde’ as this summer’s production. Based on the film, it tells the story of a fashionable young lady who enrolls in law school in order to follow the man of her dreams, but unforeseen circumstances lead her in a different direction. Actors Eli Carlin and Darius Fuller, who is also the producer tell us about putting together this show, which includes a large cast, and finding the two dogs, who are also part of the cast. The Binghamton Community Orchestra Welcomes the Susquehanna String Band

The Binghamton Community Orchestra continues its season of musical globe-trotting with an exploration of the British Isles in ‘A Celtic Celebration.’ They are joined by the Susquehanna String Band for an evening of music from England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.  Conductor Dr. Timothy Perry talks about the program and the history of the Community Orchestra

Film Scores are on the Program for the Binghamton Community Orchestra's Next Concert

Film scores have been around as long as films.  Conductor Timothy Perry says that Camille Saint-Saens and Jacques Ibert wrote some of the earliest film scores.  The Binghamton Community Orchestra is presenting a concert of film score music by John Williams, Elmer Bernstein, Wolfgang Erich Korngold, Howard Shore, and others in their next concert. http://wskg.org/audio/bco0216.mp3
