Eco-Explorers Series: Meet Our Vegetable Garden

Take a walk around our vegetable garden! Learn about our gardening process and how we help provide food for our animal ambassadors. Programs led by a CNC educator are offered every week. All children under 15 must have an adult present. We’ll be using specimens from our education collection and tools for exploration, then head to the woods to put into action what we learned.

Ten lovely gardens in Endicott, Owego and Berkshire will be open for touring on Saturday, July 10 from 10am to 3pm. Call 607-754-6060 to purchase tickets. Same day tickets can be purchased at 56 Main St, Owego and 17 Nanticoke Avenue, Endicott in the morning. Learn how to attract butterflies and moths with native plants to your own garden.

Pairing Shakespeare and Gardening

Master Gardener Eve Berman joins us to talk about ‘Much Ado in the Garden’, a Shakespeare-themed event taking place in the Cutler Botanic Garden at the Cornell Cooperative Extension grounds on Front Street in Binghamton.  There will be music, food, readings, and costumed characters.
