A press release from the Chemung county executive on Monday stated the health department is investigating one confirmed case of measles in an unvaccinated person who began showing symptoms on Sept. 3.

On Tuesday, the Steuben County health department reported its 10th measles case in an unvaccinated resident.

"We're kind of hoping, and we're being promised that these test kits — over the counter test kits and antigen test kits — are going to become more readily available."

Employees must get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8th or face termination.

"If those people can't get tested and those people don't get vaccinated, then they're not going to be able to go to school and that is going to cause major problems for schools to be able to be reopened."
