Stephen Cornwell pleaded guilty to charges that he altered and stole records related to previous DWI charges against him.

Binghamton police and the Broome County District Attorney’s office are continuing to investigate allegations of sexual assault involving the owners of three downtown restaurants. Binghamton Mayor Rich David is acknowledging his ties to the owners of those restaurants.

The justice disqualified current Broome County District Attorney Mike Korchak from prosecuting the case, citing a potential conflict of interest.
