New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Commissioner Mark Schroeder says the department will roll out a new inspection sticker program as part of a modernization plan.

In a letter to the president, 12 governors asked that the White House order a ban on greenhouse gas-emitting cars and light trucks within 14 years.

The license plate with the most votes will become the state's official license plate and will be available to customers beginning April 2020.
