Authorities say five members of a family from Georgia who were visiting Cooperstown, New York, for a baseball tournament died when their small plane crashed in Delaware County.The New York State Police say the wreckage of the plane and the remains of the five people on board were found Sunday night in the town of Masonville. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.

Republican Congressman Marc Molinaro joined acting Delaware County District Attorney Shawn Smith and other officials in highlighting the case, criticizing what he considers a failure by Democrats in Albany and Washington.

At school-based health centers, children can get check-ups, shots, and basic health care, all inside the school building. When COVID first hit in 2020, New York’s schools shut down, but many of the small doctor’s offices inside of them didn’t.

“We had one call, [the dispatcher called] 23 agencies, and no ambulance was available. To the point where the dispatcher called the house back and said, ‘We’ve got nothing. You have to find your own way to the hospital.’"

"Making sure that our milk can go to our schools, milk can go to our hospitals, milk can go to our community centers. Wherever there’s more localized opportunities to grow and build from, that should be the focus."

There's been a high demand for snow plow drivers this season, and the New York State Department of Transportation has had challenges finding enough of them.

“Not fixing something that you know needs to be fixed now, because the money just doesn’t allow for it at this moment."

“That doesn’t exist. We don’t have a lot of affordable housing anywhere in Delaware County.”

“At the current rate, things have the potential to get out of control. And the last thing anybody wants to see is another shutdown.”

"We're talking about one to two new cases, daily, sometimes zero cases daily, to about 30 new cases per day."
