The Ithaca City School District began in-person classes this week.

Teachers in the Ithaca City School District have voted for a six-year contract. The contract covers the next five years and was ratified in an almost unanimous vote.

"The cost of living in Ithaca is much different than elsewhere in the Southern Tier or even central New York."

"There’s been a long time passing without much information about what the remediation was," said Alan Karasin, treasurer of the PTA. "We would get periodic reports that things were being replaced but we didn’t exactly know what or when."
