Kyle Van De Water

Van De Water, a Republican, unsuccessfully challenged Democratic Congressman Antonio Delgado of New York’s 19th District in 2020.

Van De Water said he looks forward to a rematch in 2022.

Incumbent Delgado leads Republican Kyle Van De Water by just over 2 percent.

Candidates also discussed the ongoing confirmation hearings of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

The Army veteran will try to unseat Rep. Antonio Delgado in November.

According to the Federal Election Commission, Delgado's campaign had over $2 million in cash on hand for his reelection at the end of last year.

He ran on the Green Party line in 2018.
