Josh Riley and Jamie Cheney are running for the Democratic nomination in the 19th Congressional District. Both candidates are making strong financial gains.

Delgado had been running for re-election against Republican Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.

Molinaro, who currently serves as Duchess County Executive, was entertaining a second run for governor in 2022, but later joined other Republicans endorsing Rep. Lee Zeldin (NY-01) for that race.

“It is really, really going to hurt this community if we don’t get some type of assistance.”
