Republican candidate Scott Steve declared victory in Cortland’s mayoral race over Tuesday night. He leads Democrat Bruce Tytler by just over 200 votes.
Two current members of the Oneonta Common Council are running for the position. Republican candidate Len Carson and Democratic candidate Mark Drnek discussed their vision for the city in a debate Wednesday.
