Senator-elect Lea Webb emerged as the 10th Democrat opposed to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s pick to lead the New York Court of Appeals, the state’s highest court.

The two Democrats are seeking the party’s nomination to take on former GOP Binghamton Mayor Rich David in the general election.

“I think that’s the right thing to do, but I think you will see a more formal decision from him in the coming months."
