Alberto José Cardelle will replace Dr. Barbara Jean Morris, who stepped down in October 2020 after SUNY Oneonta became a hotspot for COVID-19 cases.

The proposed northeastern entity would consist of Lock Haven, Mansfield, and Bloomsburg Universities.

"Being there in the flesh, being able to see a face looking bored or looking confused or looking intrigued or looking fascinated, is part of teaching," Law said.
