A press release from the Chemung county executive on Monday stated the health department is investigating one confirmed case of measles in an unvaccinated person who began showing symptoms on Sept. 3.

On Tuesday, the Steuben County health department reported its 10th measles case in an unvaccinated resident.

The van, which is about the size of a food truck, will travel throughout the county and reach people where health services and providers are less accessible outside cities like Corning, Hornell and Bath.

Several other schools across New York are also requiring immunizations.

"We've seen people who haven't been able to work for an extended period of time."
