Beginning Saturday, June 11, WSQX will feature a new line-up of weekend morning programming.

Years of research has shown that WSQX has had almost no listenership to jazz on Sunday mornings, which means it’s providing nearly no service to our community during that time of day. As a result, we’ve decided to invest in Sunday morning programming and enhance the quality of our service with the addition of news and information programs, such as the radio versions of “America’s Test Kitchen” and “Travels with Rick Steves.” Plus, a new, weekly program, “The New Yorker Radio Hour,” which is already winning popularity among public radio stations nationwide.

Saturdays on WSQX, starting June 11

5:00am – World Update (BBC)

Sundays on WSQX, starting June 12

5:00am – World Update (BBC)
6:00am – Interfaith Voices
7:00am- America’s Test Kitchen
8:00am – Travel with Rick Steves
9:00am – New Yorker Radio Hour (WNYC)
10:00am – NEW TIME: Weekend Edition
12:00pm – NEW TIME: Capitol Pressroom Weekend
