This event will explore the challenges and potential actions in the context of climate change related to building resilient and sustainable food systems for a more food secure region, and reducing food waste that further contributes to CO2 emissions and global warming. It is an interactive panel from our community that will have an open discussion on these issues to stimulate more action-oriented dialogue in our region. The speakers will include Barrett Brenton from the Center for Civic Engagement, Adian Gajewski from the Food Justice Working Group, and Jamie Kirby from VINES.
